The VHA engineering team completed a battery of high altitude flight tests on the VHA 206L LongRanger main rotor blades in mid-March 2018. The tests were conducted at Lake County Airport (elevation 9,927 ft) in Leadville, Colorado, the highest airport in North America as part of the FAA STC certification effort.
