VHA Tail Rotor Blades Featured in uAvionix Tail Beacon Ad

Montana-based aftermarket avionics manufacturer uAvionix recently featured the tail of a Bell 206 in an ad for its “rotorcraft ready” TailBeacon ADS-B solution. Seen in the January 2020 issue of AOPA Pilot magazine, the ad also prominently features Van Horn Aviation tail rotor blades.

While the blades and the background have been monochromed to allow the uAvionix tail beacon to stand out, it was great to see a set of our original two-striped blades in the ad (VHA began delivering 206 tail rotor blades with three stripes in 2011). According to the uAvionix team, the 206 belongs to a private individual who uses the helicopter for personal transportation.
