206B Main Rotor Blade Balance Charts from DSI

Representatives from Diagnostic Solutions International (DSI) worked with VHA test engineers to create a set of paper charts that any operator can use to balance their VHA composite 206B main rotor blades. The set includes three charts: HOVER, 60 KIAS, and 100 KIAS. These charts can be used as a resource if other tracking methods do not produce the desired results.

VHA 206B main rotor blades contain a single trim tab to simplify tracking. This trim tab is set at the factory and may not need adjustment in the field. In most cases, balancing VHA 206B main blades can be accomplished by adjusting pitch links only. If the trim tab must be adjusted to achieve the desired balance, set the trim tab to zero degrees using VHA’s zeroing tool (Part No. 206C31412-13) prior to making any other adjustments. For more information, see our trim tab adjustment video.
