TR Bearing Field Installation Procedures Updated

VHA engineering staff posted a major revision to the CSS-500-WC-6TG-10 Bearing Installation guide in March 2019. Revision D of this customer support specification includes revised procedures for the removal, installation, and inspection of the WC-6TG-10 bearings used in VHA’s 206 tail rotor blades.

The WC-6TG-10 pre-swaged bearing has been in use on VHA 206 tail rotor blades since 2017.

The new field installation procedures allow the bearings to be installed from either side of the blade; Rev C specified the WC-6TG-10 bearings be installed from the top side only. The removal instructions have also been revised in Rev. D to account for the bearing being installed from either side.
