Veelo Technologies Displays VHA Blade at MRO Americas

Veelo Technologies featured a VHA tail rotor blade in its MRO Americas 2019 display in Atlanta in April to demonstrate the drapability of its proprietary VeeloHEAT carbon-based non-metallic heater blanket material. A subsidiary of Cincinnati, Ohio-based General Nano, Veelo develops cutting-edge materials and manufacturing technologies for composite aircraft and weapon systems.

Van Horn Aviation is currently working with Veelo to design and develop a new 2-zone heater blanket for bonding the outboard abrasion strips on our main rotor blades.
